Last week I was invited to the Kiehl’s presentation about the new products that are going to be available soon, among which their Aromatic Blends Collection. For someone who is always interested in scents, discovering this collection is a great experience.
Let’s jump onto the Kiehl’s bus to find out what the brand has in store for us this September!
We were greeted by Mr. Bones. He reminds me of what I used to see in my science classroom as a kid, though in broad daylight it didn’t seem creepy at all (just so you know, it is not made with real bones)!
There are four scents in the Aromatic Blends Collection, and each scent comes with a Skin-Softening Body Cleanser, a Skin-Softening Body Lotion, and a fragrance. The four scents include Vanilla & Cedarwood (inspired by Uganda. The vanilla beans were also harvest from small sustainable farms there), Orange Flower & Lychee (Morocco), Nashi Blossom & Pink Grapefruit (Japan), Fig Leaf & Sage (France, or more specifically the south of France).
This is Vanilla & Cedarwood. I appreciate the great lengths Kiehl’s went to obtain the vanilla pods, as they are a real luxury nowadays, and sustainability also has to be taken into consideration!
Have you tasted Moroccan mint tea? This Orange Flower & Lychee combination smells like the little bottle of orange flower essence that comes with it and some more!
My favorite out of the four is undoubtedly Nashi Blossom & Pink Grapefruit. It’s sweet, it’s floral, and it’s fresh. I find it delightful and uplifting!
Fig Leaf & Sage is supposed to evoke the ambiance of Provence. I haven’t been there yet, but if you have you should really let me know if this is how Provence smells!
For those of us in the Benelux, Kiehl’s is bringing in the leave-in hair conditioners, Magic Elixir (it is an oil for the scalp. I am personally very curious about it), Facial Fuel No Shine Hydrator (lotion for guys), and two sunblocks for face and body. These will roll out soon enough, so keep your eyes peeled! I will be testing out a leave-in conditioner and sunscreen for you too!
For pictures of our indoor picnic following the presentation, please check out the Facebook album. I enjoy the idea behind this collection, as it allows your senses and imagination to travel around the world!
Did you see anything that might interest you? What is your experience with Kiehl’s? Have you tried anything from them that you like or dislike?
