With the amount of “unboxing” posts I’ve read, I couldn’t help but feel a bit left out of the whole beauty subscription box trend. It seemed like everybody was getting some, so why not Belgium?
Fear no more, my fellow inhabitants of the chocolate kingdom, as Deauty (the name stands for discovery beauty) is on its way to the rescue! September 2012 marks the launch of Deauty, and I am going to show you what the box holds!
The box itself is very sturdy and can be recycled to store small objects, and once you loosen the ribbon and tear off the sticker, you get the exciting content before you!
For 15 euros (shipping included), you will receive 4 to 6 beauty products a month. The lineup this time is pretty impressive, as it contains 3 full-size products and 2 travel-size ones. No sample sachets that you can ask for from a counter!
For September, you get:
A full-size L’Oreal Mythic Oil. This product is so popular that it has been developed into a complete range!
A travel-size Redken Full Effect 04 All-Over Nourishing Mousse. It is supposed to pump up the volume without stickiness or crunchiness.
A full-size NUXE Micellar Cleansing Water with 3 Roses and Green Tea. I’m curious to see how it measures up to Bioderma Sensibio or Caudalie Cleansing Water!
A deluxe sample (15ml) of Clarins HydraQuench Intensive Serum Bi-Phase.
Last but not least, Essie Size Matters that is part of last winter’s Cocktail Bling collection.
Here is the swatch:
All in all, I would say 15 euros is a good deal for what you get. I would personally love to see one or two more pieces of makeup, and makeup that’s still in season as well, but it’s not too shabby. If you have a little budget and want to discover more beauty products, head over to Deauty and see how you can sign up/fill in your beauty profile!
Have you ever subscribed to a beauty box? Why or why not?
