Sweet and Fragrant: Kiehl’s Nashi Blossom & Pink Grapefruit

A while ago Kiehl’s launched their Aromatic Blends collection which contains four scents. The four scents are each supposed to symbolize a country, so you can do a bit of imaginary traveling with them. Today I have my favorite of the four, Nashi Blossom & Pink Grapefruit to share with you!

Kiehl’s Nashi Blossom & Pink Grapefruit is inspired by the Kyoto Gardens in Japan. It is a sweet scent with a tiny bit of sourness to give it a kick. Instead of being cloyingly sweet, it is fragrant and pleasant.

The Nashi Blossom & Pink Grapefruit Skin-Softening Body Cleanser is not too different from most good shower gels you can find. It foams well, cleans well, and it is not stripping. If you like the scent, you’ll enjoy having this one in your bathroom!

The Nashi Blossom & Pink Grapefruit Skin-Softening Body Lotion promises to “provide 24-hour hydration while leaving skin superbly smooth, moisturized, and protected.” It has a rather light texture, and it is easily absorbed. It is not sticky at all, and the scent is pleasant. Hydration/moisturization-wise it does an OK job. I have some doubt about how it will perform when the weather gets colder, but for the moment it is sufficient.

Here is the ingredient list if anyone needs it. Do note that it contains alcohol denat, which is why the lotion spreads easily and leaves no residue.

Last but not least, we have the Nashi Blossom & Pink Grapefruit Body Mist.

It is a rather straightforward scent that smells the same with the other products in the range. It’s more like an eau de toilette, and I think I’ll enjoy it in summer. I can imagine chilling under the sun smelling like sweet flowers and grapefruit!

Have you sniffed any scent in the Kiehl’s Aromatic Blends collection? Which one is your favorite? Are you into sweet scents as much as I am?

Love these products ! I think I’m the only one with a preference for the fig & sage scent :)

    • Sunny

As much as I like the idea of fig (some fig-based perfumes smell absolutely gorgeous), it is unfortunately a scent that always goes very wrong on me! There’s just something about my body chemistry that can’t seem to work with fig, which is a pity!

I love this scent too!! Great products!

    • Sunny

Good to know! I think this might be the most popular scent in the collection :)

I’ll have to check these out next time I go shopping. I love the smell of grapefruit.

    • Sunny

Oh yay, then you’ll probably dig this!

This sounds wonderful- I’ve wanted to smell this for quite some time, but haven’t had the chance to! The combination of flower + fruit does sound like a pretty Eau de Toilette :)

    • Sunny

Hey Dovey, yes it is! It is rather simple and straightforward, but I think it’ll be great for summer!

Ooooh I forgot to take a sniff at these the last time I was at Nordstrom. MUST remember–it sounds delightful! :)

    • Sunny

Yes, do that! It’s delightful indeed! I’m curious about which of the four you’d like the most so keep me posted :)

I remember sniffing some of these in store and really liking one, but don’t remember which! I’m trying to stay away from pricier body wash, and prefer to have unscented lotion most of the time. :/ I thought the fragrance was more $ than I would want, so i’ve been ignoring them since! Lol. (Yes, my do not buy tactic is ignore, lol)

    • Sunny

LOL I get what you mean! I do like a good lotion, but formula-wise there aren’t a lot of body washes I don’t like (unless you count the ones that leave me feeling slippery)!

I’ve got mine crying to be used! All these scents are really lovely if you ask me!

    • Sunny

      Haha try it Peggy!

I like the vanilla cedarwood one-anything woodsy and I’m all over it! I do like grapefruit scents though-I think they are very clean smelling!

    • Sunny

OOO I know about that one as well! It’s a bit smoky, which is what makes it interesting. I personally enjoy sweet and powdery vanilla scents a bit more though.

Ahhhhhh this range and scent in particular sounds amazing! I’ll have to go on a hunt for it here; there’s only one Kiehls in my town!

    • Sunny

You should, Sarah! Let me know if you like any of the four!

Ohh anything that smells like Pink Grapefruit should be nice to have around. I need to keep my eyes open for this products. :)

    • Sunny
