A while ago Kiehl’s launched their Aromatic Blends collection which contains four scents. The four scents are each supposed to symbolize a country, so you can do a bit of imaginary traveling with them. Today I have my favorite of the four, Nashi Blossom & Pink Grapefruit to share with you!
Kiehl’s Nashi Blossom & Pink Grapefruit is inspired by the Kyoto Gardens in Japan. It is a sweet scent with a tiny bit of sourness to give it a kick. Instead of being cloyingly sweet, it is fragrant and pleasant.
The Nashi Blossom & Pink Grapefruit Skin-Softening Body Cleanser is not too different from most good shower gels you can find. It foams well, cleans well, and it is not stripping. If you like the scent, you’ll enjoy having this one in your bathroom!
The Nashi Blossom & Pink Grapefruit Skin-Softening Body Lotion promises to “provide 24-hour hydration while leaving skin superbly smooth, moisturized, and protected.” It has a rather light texture, and it is easily absorbed. It is not sticky at all, and the scent is pleasant. Hydration/moisturization-wise it does an OK job. I have some doubt about how it will perform when the weather gets colder, but for the moment it is sufficient.
Here is the ingredient list if anyone needs it. Do note that it contains alcohol denat, which is why the lotion spreads easily and leaves no residue.
Last but not least, we have the Nashi Blossom & Pink Grapefruit Body Mist.
It is a rather straightforward scent that smells the same with the other products in the range. It’s more like an eau de toilette, and I think I’ll enjoy it in summer. I can imagine chilling under the sun smelling like sweet flowers and grapefruit!
Have you sniffed any scent in the Kiehl’s Aromatic Blends collection? Which one is your favorite? Are you into sweet scents as much as I am?
