Dior Cherie Bow Spring 2013 (Did Anyone Tell You there’s a New BB Cream? I am!)

Hey everyone,

I hope Monday has been kind to you! I just got some exciting news in my mailbox, and I thought I’d make a quick post to share with you! I can hardly believe we’re talking about spring 2013 already even though it’s only the end of November, but I’ll never say no to some Dior, and their upcoming Cherie Bow collection looks positively adorable!

Look at the pattern! I know it’ll kill me to dip my fingers in. I’ll probably have to close my eyes and get it over and done with.

The Twin Set Eyeshadows have one pencil end and one powder end. They promise long-lasting colors, and I can’t wait to see how they fare on my lids! The Cherie Bow Palette looks gorgeous as well. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for fantastic quality, because it’ll be so easy to put a quick look together with this one!

Even the Diorblushes are going to have the dogtooth pattern!

I’ll have Gris Trianon any day! The Dior Addict Lip Glow and Nail Glow are supposed to provide customized color for everyone. My source states that the Nail Glow makes nails look “eerily perfect.” I personally don’t mind my nails looking eerie as long as they’re perfect!

Last but not least, the Diorskin Nude BB Cream! I have great experience with Dior Hydralife BB Cream, and this one is supposed to make your skin look as fresh as a rose petal. I’m in!

    OMG, pinks. I’m not a big fan of pink eye shadows at all. I’m looking forward to the twin set eye shadows and the new BB cream! We’ll see…

      I know what you mean. Pink could be a little tricky, but it is possible to make it work!

    I figured the new addict will be the ‘normal’ ones, not the extremes, too bad. but I will try those out nevertheless :P Dior impresses me more and more, I still can’t believe how amazing their holiday collection is. I am very interested in the blush and e/s palette (so curious about the texture!), well, the twin set e/s look gorgeous as well! can’t wait to swatch everything.

    I have to own a BB cream, but so far the one I’ve sampled (Smashbox) I really like.

      Hey Chris, we don’t get Smashbox here so I know very little about the brand. So far Dior Hydralife is my favorite. I stopped using it when I got a bit too fair in autumn, but throughout summer it was the only thing I wore :)

    The BB Cream sounds interesting, but I doubt it will be oil-free :/

      Hey Becca, I’ll keep you posted when I get to read the ingredient list! Hydralife worked really well for me throughout summer (till I became a bit too fair) and I have combination skin, so maybe the formula will work for you after all?

      From what I read I’m guessing this one will have a cooler undertone (otherwise they wouldn’t compare it to a rose?), so fingers crossed it’ll work for fairer/cooler-toned people!

    Hi Sunny, I did NOT know about the BB cream. That is nice to hear. I keep hoping for a Dior product without Chemical sunscreen though! I love all the pinks in this collection, esp the vernis colors!
