Merry Christmas, everyone! I hope you’ll be surrounded by loving friends, family, and great presents! So what’s your plan for the occasion? I’ll be off to Brussels to spend time with my Belgian family (long story short: I stayed with a Belgian family in Brussels for my first 3 years here. There is a reason why I am such an expert in bossing people around the house… in French). But before that, I’d like to share my Christmas practice run FOTD with you!
The concept is doing something slightly different from what I’d wear on a daily basis without going all out (I’m saving that for the New Year’s Eve). I said I wanted to try another look with my LMdB Bauhaus, and this is it! I began with lining my upper and lower waterline/lash line thickly with Tarte Onyx before layering Axiom, Graphic, and Crucible all over my lids. I added a bit of Genre into the outer v. I also highlighted my inner corers with Graphic and went over my lower lash line with Axiom.
I finished the eyes with some black gel liner patted into my upper lash line, a coat of Diorshow Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum (still my holy grail), and 2 generous coats of Hourglass Film Noir Full Spectrum Mascara (I haven’t raved about it here, but it’s been my go-to).
I used Estee Lauder Peach Passion Pure Color Blush on my cheeks, and contoured with Chanel Notorious (I am not going to review this in detail because it is very well-reviewed already. I’m only going to say that if you get it, use a very light hand because this baby is very pigmented. However, even on my very warm-toned skin, it sits and imitates shadow very well). I slicked some Chanel Troublant on my lips and voilà!
More pictures!
Have a good one, people! I’ll be back in a couple of days!
