I am beginning to believe Pai holds the answer to all things skincare. Seriously. I have been having great success with their Camellia & Rose Gentle Hydrating Cleanser (in fact I really haven’t looked into trying another similar product), and while I normally don’t see a big difference with eye creams, I have been entirely convinced by Pai Echium BioRejuvenate Eye Cream (10ml, RRP: 32 euros) as well.
I am partial to airless pumps, and the fact that Pai Echium BioRejuvenate Eye Cream comes with one earns it bonus point. I haven’t had any problems getting exactly the amount that I need out, and the fact that I won’t waste any of this precious cream is relieving!
Pai Echium BioRejuvenate Eye Cream has a rather thick consistency. However, don’t mistake that for greasiness as it really is not. The rich cream can be easily patted into the skin, and it is absorbed fast without leaving any greasy residue. I don’t really have fine lines yet, but I do think the skin under my eyes has become smoother with this cream. What’s more, despite the fact that it is quite rich, I have never had any problems with makeup sliding around on top of it. Quite on the contrary, I think it helps my makeup stay. The skin around my eyes is generally speaking pretty self-sufficient, but I have found that concealer tends to dry it out slightly throughout the day, so it starts settling into fine lines that I don’t even know I have. With Pai Echium BioRejuvenate Eye Cream however, I have largely avoided that problem with concealers. Besides the spectacular job it does keeping this delicate area moisturized, it also helps the skin look fresh throughout the day with makeup on.
Like all Pai products, the ingredient list of Pai Echium BioRejuvenate Eye Cream is simple and clearly spelled-out. What keeps me going back to this brand is the fact that I know I can use their products anytime (even when my skin is irritated), as the composition is so pure and truly nourishing.
Bottom line: I would recommend Pai Echium BioRejuvenate Eye Cream to just about everyone! Whether you wear makeup or not, it will nourish and protect your skin without the overly greasy feeling that you can sometimes get from a rich eye cream. If you have problems with undereye concealer sinking into otherwise non-existent fine lines like what I used to have, give this one a try because you might be just as pleasantly surprised!
Have you tried anything from Pai? What is your go-to eye cream?
