Easy on the Eye: Pai Echium BioRejuvenate Eye Cream Review

Pai eye cream review

I am beginning to believe Pai holds the answer to all things skincare. Seriously. I have been having great success with their Camellia & Rose Gentle Hydrating Cleanser (in fact I really haven’t looked into trying another similar product), and while I normally don’t see a big difference with eye creams, I have been entirely convinced by Pai Echium BioRejuvenate Eye Cream (10ml, RRP: 32 euros) as well.

Pai Echium BioRejuvenate Eye Cream packaging

I am partial to airless pumps, and the fact that Pai Echium BioRejuvenate Eye Cream comes with one earns it bonus point. I haven’t had any problems getting exactly the amount that I need out, and the fact that I won’t waste any of this precious cream is relieving!

Pai Echium BioRejuvenate Eye Cream has a rather thick consistency. However, don’t mistake that for greasiness as it really is not. The rich cream can be easily patted into the skin, and it is absorbed fast without leaving any greasy residue. I don’t really have fine lines yet, but I do think the skin under my eyes has become smoother with this cream. What’s more, despite the fact that it is quite rich, I have never had any problems with makeup sliding around on top of it. Quite on the contrary, I think it helps my makeup stay. The skin around my eyes is generally speaking pretty self-sufficient, but I have found that concealer tends to dry it out slightly throughout the day, so it starts settling into fine lines that I don’t even know I have. With Pai Echium BioRejuvenate Eye Cream however, I have largely avoided that problem with concealers. Besides the spectacular job it does keeping this delicate area moisturized, it also helps the skin look fresh throughout the day with makeup on.

Pai Echium BioRejuvenate Eye Cream ingredients

Like all Pai products, the ingredient list of Pai Echium BioRejuvenate Eye Cream is simple and clearly spelled-out. What keeps me going back to this brand is the fact that I know I can use their products anytime (even when my skin is irritated), as the composition is so pure and truly nourishing.

Bottom line: I would recommend Pai Echium BioRejuvenate Eye Cream to just about everyone! Whether you wear makeup or not, it will nourish and protect your skin without the overly greasy feeling that you can sometimes get from a rich eye cream. If you have problems with undereye concealer sinking into otherwise non-existent fine lines like what I used to have, give this one a try because you might be just as pleasantly surprised!

Have you tried anything from Pai? What is your go-to eye cream?

    nope, never tried anything :)

    • Sunny

You should especially if your skin is sensitive!

These Pai products really do sound amazing! My skin is picky with eye creams…a lot of them give me a rash, and I can’t figure out what the offending ingredient is. Sometimes they only give me a rash when I layer products on top of them, too. Ugh, skincare.

    • Sunny

Oh wow rash sounds serious! I hope this one will work for you if you do give it a try! All Pai products I’ve tried are really gentle :)

I’m really getting tempted to buy some stuff from Pai! I love how they list their ingredientlists, so clear and easy :). Happy to hear that this is working for you!

    • Sunny

You should try! I know you have super sensitive skin, but there isn’t artificial fragrance in Pai products so they should be safe to experiment with!

I haven’t tried this brand but it sounds really promising ! I’m allergic to certain parabens so I’m always excited to find new brands I can use :)

    • Sunny

Oh if you’re allergic to parabens Pai is a good bet! I hope you’ll try soon!

    Hi Sunny!

Amazing review as always! Now I’m very tempted to get me a Pai – been seeing this all over, just never paid too much attention to it – I guess the price in my book is a little bit steep? But if it works, I’m happy to invest! No wrinkles for me yet, but have fine lines I battle with sometimes – so this would be a good combat for it!

    • Sunny

Thanks so much Donah! I know Pai products aren’t exactly cheap, but for the honest products they make the price is very reasonable! This one does a great job keeping my undereye area smooth and hydrated. I hope it’ll work for you too!

I’ve never tried anything from this brand but it’s quite tempting. My go to, Avène Eluage for the anti aging effects of retinaldehyde and I alternate with unrefined shea butter when I feel I need more moisture. So far so good. :)

    • Sunny

Oh hey, I’ve never thought about using shea butter for my undereye area! That sounds like a food idea for extremely dry and cold weather :)

  • Melanie

This is one “clean” brand that I have yet to try. The undereye area is really problematic for me as far as dryness goes. Now I am quite curious!

    • Sunny

Hey Melanie, I hope you’ll try Pai soon! My undereye area isn’t dry, but I have read about people who have really dry skin saying this one keeps it moisturized for longer!

  • http://mybeautysample.com/ Becca @ The Beauty Sample

DYING to try this eye cream! This and the tonic for oily skin that they make have been on my list for a while!

    • Sunny

Time to pick them up, Becca!

  • http://mylucitedreams.com Taylor

This sounds wonderful! I love a good eye cream. I have also been dying the try the cleanser

    • Sunny

Hey Taylor, do give Pai a chance. I’ve been loving everything I have tried from them!

  • Libby

AH! More Pai goodness to drool and pine over!

I’ve been wanting to try them out for ages now but oooooh the price tag. Although I’ve vowed to spend less on makeup this year and more on skincare since the base is the most important part but but but oh, man.

I’m currently using a Clinique eye cream and it’s alright, nothing to write home about so…this is tempting me…

    • Sunny

Hey Libby! You need to give Pai products a try! If your skin is dry/dehydrated, start with their rosehip oil. It works beautifully, and it’s a real bargain! I have tried some Clinique eye creams in the past, but if I remember correctly they were too rich for me. I haven’t tried them again though. Maybe they’ll work better now.

  • http://mirror-reality.com/ Philippe

Aren’t you glad I introduced you to Pai 😀
Now wait till you get to the rosehip oil & the bioaffinity toners..

    • Sunny

Yes I am! I’ve been using the rosehip oil actually. I went off toners several months back, and to be honest I don’t miss them. For Pai however, I’d make an exception :)

      • http://mirror-reality.com/ Philippe

Well good cause they’re not really toners for me.
I’d call them more a skin tonic sort of speaking.
You spray them on and let them dry fully first, before you apply anything on top.
It’s hard to explain but you should see the effect it has on skin.
For me it was instant glow and I barely needed any moisturizer on top.
        Very strange yet fascinating.

        • Sunny

Interesting. Now I’m putting them back on my to-try list!

  • http://bronzerbunny.com Joyce (bronzerbunny)

i like the packaging :) I keep hearing all these things about this brand, so I definitely need to try it eventually!

    • Sunny

      Oh yes. You’ll LOVE it!

  • http://procrastinatingpretty.blogspot.com Procrastinator

I’ve been trying this for a couple weeks, I adore the packaging. Why can’t all eye creams be this hygienic??

    • Sunny

Haha I hope it’s been working well for you! I agree with the packaging. I know that my hands are clean when I apply products, but still jars don’t compare!
