In Case of Undereye Area Emergencies, Dial Le Métier de Beauté Ultra Hydration Eye Mask Duo for Help!

Le Metier de Beaute Ultra Hydration Eye Mask Duo

*Ring ring*

LMdB: “Hello, this is Le Métier de Beauté emergency helpline. How can I help you?”

Me: “Hi, this is Sunny from Mostly Sunny. I’m making my morning coffee in the kitchen, but I have a problem…”

LMdB: “Go on.”

Me: “Last night, a girlfriend needed some S.O.S counselling, and you know how you can’t leave one of your own in the trenches? Long story short, before I knew it, it was 4AM.”

LMdB: “Oh uh. I think I know where this is going.”

Me: “Yeah, the girlfriend is fine, but I look like a total mess!”

LMdB: “Any specific complaints?”

Me: “My undereye area is puffy, lifeless, and practically purple! Is there anything you can do do help me look less like a zombie?”

LMdB: “The skin under the eyes is thinner and more fragile. Without proper care, it can easily become dehydrated. Don’t worry, I have just the thing for you! Have you heard of our new Ultra Hydration Eye Mask Duo?”

Me: “No. What does it do?”

LMdB: “Le Métier de Beauté Ultra Hydration Eye Mask Duo aims at restoring, reviving, and refreshing the skin around the eyes. It delivers intense hydration within 15 minutes, and this will reduce the look of wrinkles, dark circles, puffiness, and so on.”

Me: “Sounds like what I need!”

LMdB: “To award you for being such a loyal friend, I am going to teleport you one and walk you through the process.”

Me: “Sweet! Bring it on!

LMdB: “Now, see the front of the packaging? You should be able to lift it open from the bottom left corner.”

Me: “OK, what’s next?”

LMdB: “Pull out the little plastic tray, and you will see the Eye Mask Duo.”

LMdB: “Now, remove the patches and place them underneath your eyes.”

Me: “Wow, this texture is so interesting! It is very flexible and squishy. Also, there is a bit of liquid but the patches are not dripping wet. That’s cool. I don’t want to have the serum dripping down my face.”

LMdB: “The gel consistency is based on seaweed. As you put the patches on, you undereye area will instantly feel a cooling sensation and some relief. If you have the time, you can keep them in the fridge for 20 minutes prior to use.”

Me: “Wow, I think it’s waking me up a little! What’s next?”

LMdB: “Just wait for 15 minutes and knock your morning coffee down. Since the patches adhere well to your skin, there is no need to sit down or lie down. Carry on with your morning routine as usual, remove them after 15 minutes, and put some eye cream on to prolong the hydration. You can then put on some makeup if you wish. Call me back when you’re done.”

LMdB Ultra Hydration Eye Mask Duo review

*Half an hour later*

Me: “This is Sunny again! Guess who is not looking like a zombie anymore? My undereye area is incredibly hydrated and smooth after I removed the patches, and the puffiness is gone! I just put my foundation on, and it was so easy because because my skin was well-prepped! I definitely look normal now thanks to  Le Métier de Beauté Ultra Hydration Eye Mask Duo! Just for future reference, how much do these cost?”

LMdB: “That’s great to hear! Le Métier de Beauté Ultra Hydration Eye Mask Duo comes in a set of 8 and goes for 150 dollars.”

Me: “Wow, that’s kinda pricey, but I think it’s a great idea to have some around! You never know when you’re going to be called in for another S.O.S late-night counselling session, attend an amazing party, oh and I bet these are great for long-haul flights as well!”

LMdB: “Exactly! I’m glad I could help. Now, if your peeps in New York* want to check these out, send them to Romy Littman at the Le Métier de Beauté counter in Bergdorf Goodman. They can reach her at 212-872-8612 as well. Tell Romy Sunny at Mostly Sunny sent them. She will be extra nice!”

Me: “That’s cool! I hope more people will get to experience the emergency hydration Le Métier de Beauté Ultra Hydration Eye Mask Duo offers!”

Bottom lineLe Métier de Beauté Ultra Hydration Eye Mask Duo does what it promises to. As long as you have 15 minutes, it will visibly improve the look of the undereye area. While I wouldn’t suggest you replace your regular eye cream with the mask, it is excellent to have around for late nights, long-haul flights, or occasions on which you want to be the fairest of them all!

When was the last time you stayed up really late? What did you do? Have you tried anything (makeup or skincare) from Le Métier de Beauté? Do you use a separate eye mask?

Sunny, your beauty culture translator xx

* I chose to tag the Bergdorf Goodman counter in New York, because according to Google Analytics Mostly Sunny gets quite some love from the big apple! Haaai my NYC peeps! Go check these out because they will be SO useful next time you’re partied out/have to stay up to take care of a sick child/are going somewhere far far away!

Sounds exactly like something I can use at the moment ! :)

    • Sunny

      Haha aren’t you glad it’s FRIDAY? 😉

  • Chris El

This would be the perfect way to make a long flight worthwhile. I love that it’s see-through too.

P.S. After your last review, I had to get a sample of the Becca resurfacing primer. Can’t wait to try it out!

    • Sunny

I just think I’ll look more human if I had these with me on a long-haul flight LOL

Can’t wait to hear how the primer works for ya!

  • beauties

    nice story :)

    • Sunny

      It’s a true one too 😉

  • Becca @ The Beauty Sample

Oooh this sounds so nice and refreshing–an eye mask like this is definitely a luxurious treat. When money isn’t so tight, I might invest in a pack of nice eye masks like this (but maybe not this exact one…so pricey! I’d rather spend the money on a serum or something) for emergency purposes but I like to think I take fairly good care of my eye area and don’t really need something like this on the regular.

    • Sunny

Hey Becca, I think these are great for sleep-deprived days and luckily I don’t have a lot of those! 😉

  • Ziba

Haha, loved the dialogue! This reminded me that I bought some similar eye patches a week ago and I have totally forgotten about them! I got Talika Eye Therapy Patches and we’ll see if they match up to what you describe on here about Le Metier de Beauté eye patche, cuz THAT PRICE girl! Whoah, it better be doing some magical stuff.

    • Sunny

Haha luckily they actually do! I was never into eye patches because the ones I’ve owned made me go “meh.” On the other hand I’m enthusiastic about these!

  • Lily (@ChloeAsh)

Lovely story, lovely results, not so lovely price!

    • Sunny

Oh well, these are emergency luxury eye patches!

  • Peggy Timmermans Visagie

Nice that these do as promised. I have the ones from Clinique but I can’t say I see much result.

    • Sunny

Aww too bad! I’ve had eye patches that do NOTHING besides leaving my undereye area kinda moist. Not all eye masks are made equal!

  • Larie

Dude, is that a milk steamer? Or what is it? It looks fancy!

    • Sunny

That’s a Bialetti Mukka Express! I’m not going to claim it gives you cafe-grade cappuccinos at home, but for the 50 euros I paid it’s certainly not bad!

  • Teri

OMG IS THAT A CAT PYJAMA????? *freaks out* It looks so awesome!!! Anyway, those eyepatches look really cool, I think I know how the texture feels, like some kind of squishy jelly, right?

    • Sunny

Yup I got them for Christmas LOL

And yes they feel like squishy jelly!

  • Procrastinator

Hahahaha I loved the format of this post! But holy jeebus, that’s insanely pricey. I’m afraid to try them in case I end up liking them because then I’d have to continue to purchase them. But I really want to try them. DILEMMA.

    • Sunny

Haha thanks! I know what you mean. Now I’m in this “darn it, I want a whole box of these!” situation. I think I’ll save them for real emergencies though. For example when I slept really badly but have something important the next day!

  • Liz

Between you and Xiao, you’ve managed to stir up quite a bit of LMDB lemming! Usually I ignore eye products, but the other day, I woke up for one of the few times ever with dark puffy eyes. Wish I had these guys that day!

    • Sunny

Haha I know what you mean! Seems like I have to get a box when Zuneta stocks these lil pals!

  • Tracy@Beauty Reflections

Cool! These look like the ones that Neostrata makes and I like them. I bet I’d like these too, but no counter here thank God. I’d be BROKE haha.

    • Sunny

Haha oh yeah I know what you mean! Sometimes I’m kind of happy I don’t get any counters here either. I already buy so much from Zuneta sight unseen!

  • linda

These sound like Frownies eye gels…but Frownies are much cheaper and use you can use them multiple times.

    • Sunny

Hey Linda, thanks for putting these on the map for me! I’ll have to look into them :)

  • Taylor

I love this post Sunny! I’m all smiles! There are days I could definitely use this.

    • Sunny

Thanks Taylor <3 I think EVERYONE has those days!

  • Alison

Ah, Le Metier, I LOVE a brand known for quality. Their products are expensive, yes, but you can’t argue with the results! These look VERY effective, lovely!

If I click on the link, Sunny, and buy myself something that isn’t this product or even from this brand specifically, do you still get compensated?

I like this post’s layout, by the way! It reminded me of Karen and her emergency hotline posts.

    • Sunny

Hey Alison, I agree with you! I just haven’t had one single product from Le Metier de Beaute that I am disappointed in quality-wise!

And yes, the link goes to Zuneta and your purchases will be tracked. I get a small commission if you buy something 😉

  • Joyce (bronzerbunny)

eeeeeee eeeeee eeeeee. all the reviews of this mask are freaking me out. also the whole beginning part was so cute! :)

    • Sunny

Haha thanks Joyce! Do check these out! They’re great for emergencies.

  • wafaa

Ok I will have to cave in and try this!

    • Sunny

Hey Wafaa, do check these out when you can! Let me know how you like them :)
