After seeing the ultra sparkling new glosses, I have something else that’s just exciting to share with you! Most nail polishes in the Dior Vernis line-up have a crème finish, but they are launching four very shimmery ones that coordinate with the four star gloss shades. Today you’re going to see Spring Ball (343, RRP in Belgium: 24,80 euros)!
Dior Spring Ball Vernis is a pink coral with a generous dusting of silver shimmer. The consistency is slightly thick (it feels a bit like gel), but still easy to work with. With the first coat, you might see some streaks. Luckily, with the second one the surface is blissfully even. Two coats will make it pretty much opaque, though if I really look I can see a bit of my nail line peeking through. It lasts just as well as the regular Dior Vernis on me.
See the glossy shine and the generous amount of shimmer? It’s nice to see Dior doing something different and excelling at it!
You have seen Spring Ball close to my face here:
Removing isn’t more difficult even though Spring Ball is infused with shimmer. You’re not expected to fight a messy and glittery battle with cotton fluff all over your nails. Promise!
Bottom line: A pink coral nail polish from Dior with a healthy dose of shimmer? Yes please! Spring Ball has a great formula, is opaque with 2 coats, lasts just as well, and let’s face it: I can hardly be disappointed in a coral! I foresee Spring Ball getting a lot of love in the coming months!
It looks like a lot of you girls were already eyeing Spring Ball from the previous posts. Now that you have seen it close-up, what do you say? I’d love to check out the other shades as well as the new Dior Gel Coat. This new top coat apparently gives nails a perfect finish, is super shiny (it is also supposed to make the shimmer in nail polishes stand out more), and looks like a professional gel manicure. Very tempting!
