We have seen how two Lancome Hypnose Palettes swatch and how Reflet d’Améthyste looks on me, now it’s time for the final installment of the look and verdict of Brun Adoré! I know this is the one many of you have been waiting for, so let’s get down to business!
Just as a quick recap, my first impression of Lancome Brun Adoré Hypnose Palette is pretty positive. The only shade that I wasn’t too sure about is the lightest one (on the right) because it has a drier texture and micro-glitter. Actually using it (on top of a primer) isn’t too tricky, but I still think it’s better as an inner corner highlight than an overall lid shade (it does still look drier). The good thing is there is almost no fallout during application, and none afterwards.
For the look, I used the light taupe (first in the swatch) for the inner half, the pink (4th in the swatch) as a transition shade, and the mauvy brown on the outer third. I highlighted the inner corners with the lightest shade, and lined my lower lash line with the black.
Bottom line: It’s a pity that the lightest shade isn’t stellar, but the other four shades in Lancome Brun Adoré are seriously amazing. They have great textures, generous pigmentation, and easy blendability. If you like taupe and can tolerate a little flaw, Lancome Brun Adoré might still be worth consideration!
What do you say, yay or nay?
