A while ago we saw a lot of eyeshadow launches, but now lip products are taking over again! Chanel Avant-Première de Chanel collection will soon hit the shelves with 8 Rouge Coco Shines, 6 Rouge Cocos, and 4 Le Vernis (available in Belgium: April 15th. RRP for the lipsticks: 31 euros. Le Vernis: 23 euros). But that’s not all! Later there will be some new Les Lèvres Scintillantes and Rouge Allures. Let’s just say if you are a fan of Chanel, it’s going to be a good year!
Today I have three of the new shades including Ce Soir Rouge Coco (51), Le Baiser Rouge Coco (54), and Suspense Rouge Coco Shine (80) to share with you! I really only had the time to photograph and swatch them, so I won’t go into details. Do expect to read all about them here soon though!

Chanel Avant-Première de Chanel is inspired by Hollywood glam. As far as I can tell, the Rouge Coco formula hasn’t changed. On the other hand, the range of Rouge Coco Shines has been extended with deeper shades. Chanel also claims they now have 30% additional pigment, and let me admit pigment always sounds good in my book!
Swatch from left to right: Ce Soir Rouge Coco, Le Baiser Rouge Coco, Suspense Rouge Coco Shine
Ce Soir is a plummy brown, Le Baiser is a bright pink coral with golden shimmer, and Suspense is a juicy fuchsia with shimmer. Suspense is actually my first Rouge Coco Shine. Maybe the 30% of additional pigment is true, because the color payoff seems really good. I’m getting my hopes up!
Also, if you’re wondering what that little golden room is in the first picture, it is the most adorable miniature Coco Mademoiselle! I’m still waiting to hear back about whether it is a gift with purchase and if so, what the deal is. I will keep you posted for sure, but in the meantime let’s just gawk at it!
EDIT 12th April 2013: I’m really sorry guys. This is apparently a press teaser and not a GWP. Apparently I’ll receive more information soon so I will keep you posted!
Love the bird and the cage! So whimsical!
It will break my heart to actually use this miniature bottle of perfume!
Did you see anything you like? Are you a fan of the existing Rouge Coco Shines or are you a fan of deeper shades and more pigment? Is anyone’s signature scent Chanel Coco Mademoiselle?
