It is a little hard to write about the Bobbi Brown fall collection, because I keep getting sidetracked. Bobbi Brown said bittersweet chocolate and ripe raspberries are the inspiration behind Rich Chocolate. I have to admit she’s got me thinking a lot about chocolate! Today I am showing you Berry, a mellow autumn lipstick!
The packaging of Bobbi Brown Lip Color is very classic, and the cap snaps shut with a click.
The formula is unscented, and the shade of the tip is slightly curved. The shape is great for navigating the small corners of the lips, which comes in handy because it is quite pigmented!
Berry (0X. Limited edition. RRP in Belgium: 25 euros) is a raspberry pink with a slightly cool undertone. The texture is smooth and creamy, and it glides on with opaque coverage. The finish has a nice sheen, and it feels creamy on the lips (but not heavy). It doesn’t pull or tug during application, and it stays in place without ever straying out of my natural lip line. It holds up to drinks without breaking a sweat, but it’s time to reapply after a meal.
Here is how Berry swatches. Left: one pass. Right: Built up.
As you can see, Berry is more muted, and the most cool-toned.
Here is how Berry looks on me:
Bottom line: Bobbi Brown Berry Lip Color is a creamy lipstick that wears well. The cool-toned raspberry pink is perfect for autumn, and it is easy to wear!
Now, if you would excuse me: I need to get some more of that fancy chocolate!
