Wrap Your Face, Lips, & Hands in This Caudalie Moisture Cocoon!

Caudalie Moisture Cocoon Set

Still looking for gift ideas? Caudalie has some nice and budget-friendly gift sets to offer! Let’s take a quick look at my personal favorite today, Moisture Cocoon Set!

Caudalie Moisture Cocoon Set box

Caudalie Moisture Cocoon Set (RRP in Belgium: 24,60 euros) contains a full-size tube of Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet (40ml/1.3 oz), a Lip Conditioner (4.5 grams/0.15 oz), and a 50ml (1.7 oz) tube of Hand and Nail Cream. A tube of the Moisturizing Sorbet would normally cost as much, so basically you’re getting the hand cream and lip balm for free!

Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet

I have used up two or three tubes of Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet. I love the entire line, but this is one of the things I would recommend to absolutely everyone. Regardless of age and skin type, this lightweight and “frothy” moisturizer will put all the hydration back into your skin! It is not a fancy thing that claims to do 37 things at the same time, but if you want pure hydration, I would firmly steer you in this direction!

Caudalie Hand and Nail Cream

As I mentioned before in the Hand Cream Trio post, Caudalie recently slightly altered their Hand and Nail Cream formula. The biggest difference I can spot is they took dimethicone out, and the scent is also slightly more citrusy (not to the point that it becomes too sharp, and it doesn’t seem to linger that much). Otherwise, it is the same great residue-free hand cream that keeps hands mosturized for hours on end!

Caudalie Lip Conditioner

I don’t use lip balms during daytime that often anymore, but I remember liking Caudalie Lip Conditioner very much. I am pretty sure altogether I went through a handful of tubes of this baby! It is not too glossy, greasy, and it doesn’t leave any white residue. However, it does repair lips and keeps them protected from the cold! The scent is very light and shouldn’t bother most. Much like the Fresh lip balm, it smells a little like Yakult!

Caudalie Lip Conditioner new shape

Caudalie did change the shape of the tip. It used to have a tip that is shaped almost like a lipstick, but it is just flat now.

Bottom line: Caudalie Moisture Cocoon Set packs some of my all-time favorite formulas in one box. Forget about gift ideas: all Caudalie fans should grab one for themselves! Free hand cream and lip balm for the win!

Sets are the best! I am such a sucker for bargains haha.

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Oh same here! Especially when you already know you’ll love everything in it :)

  • http://redhotjillypeppers.com/ Redhotjillypeppers

Definitely looking into this one ! My skin is getting so dry at the moment.

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Aww yeah some Caudalie is always good for that!

  • http://onedrawerfull.wordpress.com/ Kirti

The last time I was in my local pharmacy, I got the hand cream and lip balm in a set for just 5 or 6 euros! I havent tried the lip balm yet but you’ve convinced me to give it a try :)

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Kirti, that’s a good deal as well! You should try it ASAP. It works well!

I love gift sets for Christmas :-D:-D that’s the best thing that could ever happen. They pretty much always work out better than getting products only :-D

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Haha yup that’s the best part!

  • http://polished-polyglot.blogspot.ch/ Nati

What a great option for a gift! Sets are really great to give and receive.
I have already done most of my Christmas shopping (only one more gift to buy ;), reason being, I hate crowds, and I hate to be struggling to get to a counter, and to have the attention of the shop assistant, or to make a queue to pay, so I’ve done most of it in November, bought half of it online :) and even profit of some black Friday discounts.

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Nati, wow you’ve done well! I still have a lot more to get, and I don’t have a lot of inspiration for the moment. I’ve got to brainstorm with my family members LOL

      • http://polished-polyglot.blogspot.ch/ Nati

I know exactly what you mean! The gift that’s missing is my hubby, he must be the most difficult person to shop in the whole world! so I gave up buying things for him, I rather surprise him, but the necessary inspiration isn’t coming… yet

        • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Oh I actually found a good one for my fiance this year! It’s SO hard to get presents for guys in general. They seem to be pretty “meh” about most things!

  • beauties

sounds like a good deal :) i haven’t tried the sorbet yet

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Oh you should! I’d say it’s great for just about every skin type, depending on what you layer underneath it.

  • Icaria

Oh this one I want!!! I hope we have it. The lip conditionner is my all time favorite daytime balm and that hand cream is gorgeous. I’m so relieved they haven’t changed it too much and that it’s still non greasy. I can go for a little more citrussy. The Crème Sorbet I’ll definitely need for the horribly cold days we’ll surely get in January! :)

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Helene, nope it’s still non-greasy! It’s just a tiny bit more citrus-y. I had to sniff my tubes so many times before I could tell the difference!

  • http://www.abeautifulzen.blogspot.ca/ jenn @Abeautifulzen

i’m all for straightforward products that just work. and i’m a little taken aback when companies list the 400 zillion things their one product will do. color me extremely skeptical. so huzzah for you caudalie moisturizer!

    A Beautiful Zen

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Jenn, if you want a straightforward hydrating lotion and nothing else, try the Caudalie one!

  • http://kissandmakeupsbeautyblog.com/ Kiss & Make-up

Ooooh my, this looks like this could be exactly what I need right now!

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Melissa, go grab a set! The price point is really great!

  • TracyBeautyReflections

Oh! I need to get this for Marky! Especially that moisturizer! It sounds exactly like what she needs!

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Tracy, oh great! I hope Marky will like it!

  • Marijke

Hope to find this under my christmas tree! ;-)

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Marijke, fingers crossed! If not, it’s actually so budget-friendly so you should grab it anyways!

  • http://lipstickintheattic.blogspot.com/ Judith

Oh a sunflower seed oil based lipbalm, that looks good!

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Judith, give it a go! I used up several tubes of this!

  • http://beautyreductionista.blogspot.ca/ Liz

I’ve tried 2/3 – everything but the lip balm – and find that they’re just a bit too light for my liking. I’m always sad when I don’t love Caudalie because the brand in general is awesome. Maybe I’ll just grab the balm and test that out this year. :)

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Liz, have you tried the heavier creams in the Vinosource range? This one is lightweight, but they also have two for drier skin types!

  • http://www.glambunctious.com/ Kristen / Glambunctious

I just love the name “Moisture Cocoon”! Caudalie was one of the first high-end skin care brands I dabbled with when I first discovered Sephora years ago and everything was top notch! This is a great value set for the holidays!

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Kristen, I started buying Caudalie when I was in university! I remember the price was SO marked-up back at the time, and I could only afford something from time to time. Yet that’s the beginning of my decade-long obsession! This is really good for the weather!

  • Krystle Kouture

I really want to try the Sorbet. Sounds like an amazing value too

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Krystle, definitely check the sorbet and this set out! It is great value, and I hope you’ll love it as much as I do!

  • http://www.beautyproductsjunkie.blogspot.com/ Ellie

I bought this set recently and I love it as well – Caudalie is just an amazing brand, one of my favourites!! :) xx

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Oh great, I’m glad to hear you love it, Ellie! Caudalie is one of the very few brands I’ve been using for about a decade :)
