For those of you who celebrate Christmas, how is your Christmas shopping coming along? I actually started fussing early enough this year, so I am just about done! Now it’s just kicking back and showing you the last bits of holiday stuff I still have! The case in point today: RiRi (Hearts) MAC Holiday!
The 36 Lash (RRP in Belgium: 13 euros) isn’t actually part of this collection. However, it is still available on the Belgian site.
They are so full and long and dramatic! I am less than useless when it comes to applying false eyelashes, plus I suspect these are way too long for the lid space that I have. However, I do like the clear bands. They also seem very soft!
Cockiness Superslick Eye Liner (RRP in Belgium: 22 euros) is a sparkalicious copper liquid eyeliner. The applicator is surprisingly easy to work with. I usually make a mess with this type of applicator, but I managed to get a pretty clean line with this one. It is mostly opaque with one pass as well (even though it doesn’t necessarily look that way in the swatch).
However, I have the same problems with Cockiness as I do with every other similar liquid liner I have tried. They all seem to take too long to dry, and I find it very hard to keep my eyes closed for that long. Also, they all tend to flake on me after several hours, and Cockiness is no exception. I have heard that this formula basically doesn’t budge on others once it sets, so do take my experience with a grain of salt!
Here is how MAC Cockiness Superslick Eye Liner swatches. Left: one pass. Right: built up.
Last but not least, remember RiRi Woo? Now MAC has made a nail polish to go with it!
MAC RiRi Woo Nail Lacquer (RRP in Belgium: 14,50 euros) is a bright, cool red. It has a cream finish, and it is insanely opaque and pigmented with one coat!
The consistency is pretty spot-on here, though I would suggest you scrape a bit of excess off. I didn’t, and that’s why the swatches didn’t turn out too neat!
Did you see anything you like in this collection? I’d like to at least swatch Pleasure Bomb if I had the chance. It’s such an in-your-face fuchsia! Also, if you have any tips for applying liquid eyeliners like this one, I would really appreciate it!
