More than just bronzers, Giorgio Armani Maestro Mediterranea is embracing the sun with beautiful cheek colors! Besides 4 shades of Sun Fabrics (powder bronzers) and one Maestro Liquid Summer (liquid bronzer), you can expect 3 Maestro Fusion Blushes (liquid blushes) and 11 new Cheek Fabric Sheer Blushes on the shelves here in Belgium in May. How about a sneak peek at *300 Maestro Fusion Blush and *Attitude Cheek Fabric Sheer Blush (306)?
Giorgio Armani Maestro Fusion Blush (15ml/0.5 oz. RRP in Belgium: 40 euros) feels like a thicker Maestro foundation. I don’t have the ingredient list, but from how it smells (like alcohol) and how it feels (like silicone), I am guessing the ingredients don’t stray far from the foundation.
From what I can see, it can be blended out very easily, and then it sets. You don’t even need one drop each time, because look at this:
With one drop, I basically have enough to color half of my forearm!
#300 is a hot tangerine. It’s going to look sizzling with a tan (or some bronzer. We can always cheat)! I’ll have to test it out on the cheeks properly and get back to you about how it works, but I dig this shade already!
Next up, the new Cheek Fabric Sheer Blush (4 grams/0.14 oz. RRP in Belgium: 40 euros)! I have Attitude (306), which is a coral pink with a hint of apricot!
The texture of this is incredible. If you think you have seen your fair share of finely-milled blushes, think again. It is also lighter than air. I can see some light-reflecting particle in the pan, but I doubt very much it’s the type of particle that will actually show up on the cheeks.
This is how Attitude swatches:
I compared it with some shades in my coral collection. From left to right you can see Guerlain Peach Boy (you have seen it here recently), Giorgio Armani Attitude, Dior Corail Bagatelle, Edward Bess Secret Affair:
I wouldn’t say there is a spot-on dupe here, although with the size of my collection, you can see some come close.
Would you wear any of these? How about a liquid blush? I think the closest thing I’ve tried is Becca Beach Tint, but even that is significantly different!
