Giorgio Armani Maestro Mediterranea Sneak Peek: 300 Maestro Fusion Blush & Attitude Cheek Fabric Sheer Blush

Giorgio Armani Maestro Mediterranea 300 Maestro Fusion Blush, 306 Attitude Cheek Fabric Sheer Blush

More than just bronzers, Giorgio Armani Maestro Mediterranea is embracing the sun with beautiful cheek colors! Besides 4 shades of Sun Fabrics (powder bronzers) and one Maestro Liquid Summer (liquid bronzer), you can expect 3 Maestro Fusion Blushes (liquid blushes) and 11 new Cheek Fabric Sheer Blushes on the shelves here in Belgium in May. How about a sneak peek at *300 Maestro Fusion Blush and *Attitude Cheek Fabric Sheer Blush (306)?

Giorgio Armani 300 Maestro Fusion Blush

Giorgio Armani Maestro Fusion Blush (15ml/0.5 oz. RRP in Belgium: 40 euros) feels like a thicker Maestro foundation. I don’t have the ingredient list, but from how it smells (like alcohol) and how it feels (like silicone), I am guessing the ingredients don’t stray far from the foundation.

Giorgio Armani Maestro Fusion Blush pipette

From what I can see, it can be blended out very easily, and then it sets. You don’t even need one drop each time, because look at this:

Giorgio Armani 300 Maestro Fusion Blush swatch

With one drop, I basically have enough to color half of my forearm!

#300 is a hot tangerine. It’s going to look sizzling with a tan (or some bronzer. We can always cheat)! I’ll have to test it out on the cheeks properly and get back to you about how it works, but I dig this shade already!

Giorgio Armani 306 Attitude Cheek Fabric Sheer Blush

Next up, the new Cheek Fabric Sheer Blush (4 grams/0.14 oz. RRP in Belgium: 40 euros)! I have Attitude (306), which is a coral pink with a hint of apricot!

Giorgio Armani Attitude blush

The texture of this is incredible. If you think you have seen your fair share of finely-milled blushes, think again. It is also lighter than air. I can see some light-reflecting particle in the pan, but I doubt very much it’s the type of particle that will actually show up on the cheeks.

This is how Attitude swatches:

I compared it with some shades in my coral collection. From left to right you can see Guerlain Peach Boy (you have seen it here recently), Giorgio Armani Attitude, Dior Corail Bagatelle, Edward Bess Secret Affair:

I wouldn’t say there is a spot-on dupe here, although with the size of my collection, you can see some come close.

Would you wear any of these? How about a liquid blush? I think the closest thing I’ve tried is Becca Beach Tint, but even that is significantly different!

  • http://redhotjillypeppers.com/ Redhotjillypeppers

The liquid blush looks a bit tricky to put on. I never tried one of those before.

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Jill, it does blend out spectacular well, but I think you’ll have to move fast. I also have to see if it is picky about the type of base you put it on.

  • http://smashinbeauty.com/ SmashinBeauty

Love the Giorgio Armani Maestro Fusion Blush <3

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

It’s such a happy summery color!

  • 38noodles

So much awesomeness coming from GA between these and those surprise eye shadows!

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

I know! I don’t know if the eyeshadows are available here yet, but I neeeed to swatch some of them!

  • Bella

I love these, can’t wait to see some of the other powder blush shades!. I can only buy Giorgio Armani products sight unseen online in NL. (I have a couple of lip products coming in today, from the Effeto Nudo collection actually, haha). I have Edward Bess Secret Affair which I shall dig out pronto; it’s a lovely coral which I’ve forgotten. Never tried liquid blush, don’t think I shall, I have also only used Becca Beach Tints and Bobbi Brown limited edition lip-and-cheek-colours-in-tubes.

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Bella, aww you don’t have GA counters? We have several here, and I assumed you’d have more!

I’ll keep you posted about the liquid blush. From what I can see, it blends out spectacularly well!

      • Bella

Thansks, I’ll look out! See, I told you you guys have way more counters there than we have here! You can get Giorgio Armani makeup in De Bijenkorf in either Den Haag or Amsterdam, one of the two, and online at De Bijenkorf.nl. I’m not generally in the habit of travelling to buy makeup and I don’t seem to have any reasons to go to Den Haag or that part of Amsterdam by day when the shops are open, LOL!

        • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

I see! We have about 5 counters in total here. None of them is in my town, but I do go to Antwerp and Brussels from time to time. I get my fix then!

          • Bella

That’s one reason why I love beauty blogs: I research my online purchases. And I am very happy with my Sheer Lipstick and Flash Lacquer (gawd, forgotten the names already) both in 314, which arrived this evening! Finally, my perfect perfect nude <3.

          • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

OOO I just had to check them out and they are tempting! So glad you finally found your perfect nude! That is not as easy as one might think!

  • http://lamajesty.wordpress.com/ Emae

These are beautiful! And the color of that Fusion Blush is just perfect for me! I’ve never used liquid blushes or tints on my cheeks because I always had a hard time blending them out. :( But these are really pretty! Gah!

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Emae, I don’t think this formula will be hard to blend out, but I’ll get back to you on that!

  • http://kissandmakeupsbeautyblog.com/ Kiss & Make-up

Huh, I’m definitely intrigued by that liquid blush. I tried a liquid blush from e.l.f. once but I’m sure that it cannot be compared to this one by Giorgio Armani. I’d love to give it a try.

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Melissa, I’ll get back to you on that. It seems to have real potential!

  • BeautiesEva

that fusion blush is so special :)

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

It is indeed! Maybe liquid blush is the next cream blush!

  • http://papayapieces.com/ Sofia

A Giorgio Armani make up sales assistant stopped me once and really, really wanted to put the (powder) blush on me. I must say it was amazing. I’m quite curious now to go in the shop and try the liquid blushes!

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Haha I get a little scared when SAs are too enthusiastic :p I’m trying these on sometime this week!

  • http://lipstickintheattic.blogspot.com/ Judith

Attitude is really a beauty. I really want it!

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

I’d love to check out other shades as well! It looks like they have many natural-looking ones as well as some brighter ones!

  • Diana

Oh my god, I LOVE that liquid blush!!

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

      It SCREAMS summer!

  • AnneliesDP

That liquid blush looks very good!
    Love, Annelies

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

      It’s definitely quite innovative!

  • http://eyespaintedblack.com/ Natasja

wow the liquid blush is intens and I’d love to see it on you. though from the sounds of it (alcohol and silicone) it might not be that great for your skin. the cheek fabric blush is a wonderful and soft color! Both sound interesting.. but 40 euros is too expensive for a blush.. because I don’t wear them often.

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Natasja, I don’t care as much about the ingredients in makeup (in skincare I am painfully picky), but if you are known sensitivities to alcohol, this might not work that well for you!

You don’t wear blush often? I remember I was like that once upon a time!

      • http://eyespaintedblack.com/ Natasja

Hi Sunny! Yeah, I don’t because I have rosacea on my cheeks.. so I try to avoid using foundation and other make up that I would have to apply to my cheeks. This is another reason why I don’t wear it all on a regular/daily base.

        • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Aww rosacea doesn’t sound like fun :( I’ve seen many photos of you but I never really notice the lack of blush though. It’s good that your looks are balanced without them!

  • http://pinkyplue.com/ plue

i definitely want to try the powder blush!

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

      It’s soooo finely-milled and light!

      • http://pinkyplue.com/ plue

i have their older blushes and quite like it, so am hoping these new ones won’t disappoint either!

        • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Plue, I’d like to hear how they compare!

  • http://www.abeautifulzen.blogspot.ca/ jenn @Abeautifulzen

woah hello orange blush. thats some intense color there even when blended out (and doesn’t it blend beautifully) actually, this looks pretty easy to work with. i find the tints and more liquid blushes that i’ve seen already don’t spread as well.

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Jenn, oh this one is a piece of cake to spread out. If you have tried their Maestro foundation (I think L’Oreal has a budget-friendly version of that as well), you know how this feels. It is not as runny but that’s about it!

  • http://beautyreflectionsblog.com TracyBeautyReflections

Wowza that’s a pigmented blush! Not a lot of blushes scare me, but that on sure does! The powder one sounds great!

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Tracy, it looks like it still has some translucency though! I’m going to give it a go sometime this week!

  • http://www.themistymom.com/ Shari

Been waiting for reviews on these, Sunny! I know I can always count on your blog for new releases!! :) The fusion blush is at the top of my list :)

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Thanks, Shari! They have two other shades that look really good as well! I’m pretty sure all three will work on you!

  • ElleSees.blogspot.com

i’ve been into liquid blushes lately, so my interest is into this!

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

I’ve been into cream blushes. This is new to me and very exciting!

  • http://www.project-swatch.com/ Emi at Project Swatch

I love the color of the liquid blush! I’m interested to hear how it works out for you.

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Emi, I’ll keep you posted for sure!

  • http://beautyreductionista.blogspot.ca/ Liz

I’m throwing in the Maestro blush into my orange/peach list! I love the colour!

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Liz, this is perfect for your orange/peach craving!

  • http://jadeinthepalace.blogspot.com/ Cassandrapamela

I am not really good with liquid blush, but this one is so pretty yet so so expensive T.T
I am excited to see how you like it, whether it stays on well? :-)

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Pamela, yeah it’s GA, and you can basically expect the price tag to be big…

I’ll test it out later this week and I’ll keep you posted!

  • http://www.bellachique.be/ Teri

Looks really promising! Thank God they didn’t add shimmer or glitter to the liquid blush. I’m not sure if the formula will work on my skin with the alcohol but I will have to swatch them ^^.

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Teri, nope at least this one is shimmer-less!

  • Bellyhead

Such pretty swatches, Sunny. I’m not as keen on liquids/cream blushes so much because they don’t last on me. D: But the new powder ones look lovely. I love how they are melding into your skin. Thanks for the post.

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Thanks, Belly! Have you tried the Chanel formula? That one lasts just as well as some of the better powder blushes on me! Also the LMdB one is excellent. Can’t wait to give this a go!

      • Bellyhead

I tried Chanel, Bobbi Brown, Addiction (liquid & stick) and various things. I think they just don’t want to cling to my skin! But Fusion blush looks amazeballz.

  • fancie

The Fusion Blush is absolutely gorgeous! Plus it looks like it will last FOREVER lol

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Fancie, yeah you’ll probably never ever run out of this! With on drop I can color half of my forearm!

  • http://beautybyau.blogspot.be/ Aurélie Bekaert

I’m intrigued by the liquid blush, but if it smells like alcochol I’ll pass on that one…

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Aurelie, I don’t think the scent will be overwhelming when you actually use it (I was sniffing the open bottle). However, if your skin doesn’t handle alcohol denat too well, you might want to at least do a patch test first.

      • http://beautybyau.blogspot.be/ Aurélie Bekaert

I just don’t like what alcochol does to mij face ;) I do love that it’s so highly pigmented!

        • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Yeah I can understand that. I tend to be very skeptical about alcohol denat in skincare products.

  • http://themakeuptrain.com/ Christina

That tangerine liquid blush is making me swoon. It would be so perfect with a sheer orange lipcolor and some bronze eyeliner.

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Christina, ooo thanks for the idea! I’m going to see if I can put a look together :)

  • http://www.belletristicbeauty.com/ Jenny

I love Attitude. You’re making me want to pick up another Cheek Fabric Blush! I just absolutely LOVE these. I have two so far, and am thinking I need them all.

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Jenny, haha that’s always the problem ;)

  • http://www.lenallure.com/ Lena L

I am a little scared of any liquid blush or tint cause I doubt myself is capable of seamlessly blending them. But there is this evidently different texture with liquid formula. I am intrigued!
But then, the Attitude shade looks so beautiful and well-balanced. ;)

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Lena, my preliminary observation is this should blend VERY easily. If you have tried the Maestro foundation or the Maybelline version of it, you probably know just how easy it is to blend it in. I’ll give it a proper go and get back to you on it, but for the moment my bigger concern is how to dose the product right (since you don’t even need one drop. Not even half a drop to be honest).

  • http://www.hellojaa.com/ Jaa

That blush! That Attitude! I want!!! Can’t wait to see it in action. :D I’m very intrigued about the Maestro Fusion Blush, too. Does it stain, Sunny?

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Jaa, I still have to test it out, but the swatches were quite easy to remove (with micellar water), so I’m hoping it won’t be something I have to scrub off!

  • http://eyeheartit.blogspot.com Larie

OOOOOH. I can’t wait to see a full face shot! :D

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

I’m going to try them on later this week, so hopefully the full reviews will be up sometime next week! Soon!

  • http://www.thepaintedrogue.wordpress.com Syirael

Whoa, that liquid blush is phenomenal! Could paint a whole dungeon with it – would brighten it up no end! The Cheek Fabric blush looks so pretty, I think the colour is just so light and fresh :-)

Hey, GA, wanna bring your stuff down to this part of the world? No, not just the suits, man, the makeup!

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Haha yeah it’s so pigmented you won’t even need a lot of it! You guys don’t get GA???

      • http://www.thepaintedrogue.wordpress.com Syirael

Nope :-( Not the makeup line, anyway. I will say that his glasses frames are surprisingly affordable, however :-D

  • http://www.cuteandmundane.com/ Dovey

    Hi Sunny,

Attitude seems like such a gorgeous coral pink! I’ll have to swatch this if I ever get a chance :)

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Dovey, you should definitely do that! I’m sure there are other shades in the line-up that will interest you as well!

  • Chia-Yi Liu

umm… a blush of some kind may have to be my first armani!

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

      Tempting, aren’t they? ;)

  • http://beautyandtheeyeliner.wordpress.com/ Natalie

These both look stunning! The fusion blush is super stunning. And that pigmentation is crazy.

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Natalie, I agree! I think dosing it with minimum waste is going to be much harder than blending it out!

  • http://www.vibrantbeautyblog.com/ Jennifer Monforton

Sounds like an interesting texture! I love the Daniel Sandler Watercolour liquid blushes- such a unique formula and they wear for ages! xo

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Jennifer, oh now come to think of it, I have heard great things about those, too!

  • http://www.glambunctious.com/ Kristen / Glambunctious

The liquid blush looks divine! Although i’m not sure I’d live long enough to “hit pan” on that big ol’ jar if 1 drop gives that much oomph! Both of these products look so beautiful and luxe.

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Kristen, I know! I don’t think I’ll ever finish a blush, but Maestro Fusion Blush might be an even bigger challenge than the rest of them!

  • Icaria

Estée Lauder had something similar liquid years ago that I did like a lot but not sure I’d go for one again. Now that other little beauty is another matter, I could go for that! :)

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Haha Attitude so petite! It’s probably the most petite blush compact I’ve seen!

  • http://www.beautyfrontline.com/ Beauty Frontline

liquid blush shade is lovely!.. :)

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

      It’s so fierce!

  • http://www.latinolook.com/ Liss Cope

oh my! the all GA summer collection is stunning!! I loving the look of the blush but I’m dying over the maestro liquid bronzer and the sun fabric one!! xxx

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Liss, I think you’ll be able to pull this one off with ease!

  • Allison @neversaydiebeauty

    just gorgeous!

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

I know. The liquid one is especially dreamy!

  • marciaf

These are just stunning. I have trouble resisting Armani so I usually don’t go to the counter. LOL

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Haha yeah that might be the only effective measure ;)

  • http://girlbehindglasses.wordpress.com/ Nikki P.

I’ll have one of those Fusion Blushes please!

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

I tried it on yesterday and so far so good! I want to see how it fares on different bases though. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can!

  • http://www.queenofallyousee.com/ Shayne♥

I think attitude is a REALLY pretty color i would skip on the liquid blush tho, i feel like they are difficult to apply or maybe im just not used to it :)

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Shayne, I tried the liquid blush yesterday and it was as easy as I had expected! I want to try it on a couple different bases, but so far so good!

  • http://www.nailsandcupcakes.com/ Isabelle

I saw this post pop up a couple of days before and haven’t commented yet.. I am so curious about that fusion blush!!!! Not sure how I feel about liquid blushes, I used to have Benetint but it did sometimes do some weird staining I couldn’t remove on the spot, so I tend to stay away from them now.

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Isabelle, I tried the fusion one on yesterday and I had no problem removing it! I’ll test it out on a couple more bases and get back to you!

  • Jacqueline Ma

I will wear these in a heart beat! I have my eye on getting a Cheek Fabric and a Maestro blush but I am waiting for online swatches to turn up. You had me at Hot Tangerine, I will definitely get this colour. I want to see the other Cheek Fabrics first though. I think I have way too many coral blushes.

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Jacqueline, I am sure these will look great on you! I have a lot of corals, too. Orange? Not so much! This is pretty unique in my collection. I hope GA will expand the line at some point!

  • http://nothingspaces.com Carina

I love all the peachy coral goodness! Especially for the hotter weather we are currently facing here in Manila. :) I love trying out different types of blushes, but I could never get the hang of those more liquidy ones, since I feel like I always end up putting too much on my face. That is such a pretty shade, though.

    • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Carina, I tried the liquid one yesterday for the first time. I put half a drop (or as little as I could, actually) on the back of my hand before dabbing it on my cheeks with one finger and blending it out with another clean finger. It worked well! I’ll keep you posted. I want to try it on a couple of different bases.
