About

Hey everyone! My name is Sunny and I am the founder/editor of Mostly Sunny.

I come from Taiwan, and I moved to Belgium in September 2008. I am a freelance translator, the mother/human companion of Tango and Muffin. I started Mostly Sunny on a sunny autumn afternoon on October 28th, 2011 as an attempt to share what I am passionate about and believe in with the world!

I call myself your beauty culture translator because obviously I am very interested in beauty, and I work as a translator. I believe my diverse cultural background plays an important rule in my perception of beauty, as I will hopefully be able to translate different cultural aspects of beauty for you!

If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a comment, email me, or tweet me. I look forward to hearing from you!

Sunny, your beauty culture translator xx

Muffin & Tango: See you around!

Love the color of your nail polish in that photo! And the cats are of course adorable!! ^.^

    • Sunny

Aww thanks Kareen! It’s Dior Saint-Tropez. It’s one of the nail polishes I used the most last year. I used up half a bottle of that thing!

Hiiii Sunnny!!! I love the sweetie pie lashes!!!! Jst wondeering when u applied it how did u put it on? and what clue did you use?? because I love them on you, and did u put mascara on them aswell???

    • Sunny

Hey Elaine, thanks so much for passing by and leaving a comment! I just used the glue that came with the false lashes, and it works fine! I curled my lashes and put mascara on before I threw the falsies on. Otherwise they are pretty straight and it won’t look too good. I don’t think I used any tools to help put these on. Sweetie Pie is still manageable. I think the longer/more dense falsies are, the harder it is to position them. Hope this helps!
