This week I had the pleasure of going to two PR events, including Caudalie and Oenobiol. While Caudalie has been one of my favorite skincare brands for at least 8 years, Oenobiol is new to me. Let’s check out what they have to offer!
Caudalie is launching their new line Vinosource. This line includes the S.O.S Thirst Quenching Serum, Moisturizing Mattifying Fluid (for people with combination skin like myself), Moisturizing Sorbet (this has been reformulated and is now in a tube rather than a pump bottle. I tried and liked the original formula, so I’m very curious about how the new one works. It targets those with sensitive skin), Moisture Recovery Cream (for those with dry skin), and Intense Moisture Rescue Cream (for very dry skin).
We got to try them on the back of our hands and arms. Not only is the texture amazing (even the Intense Moisture Rescue Cream is absorbed within seconds and not at all sticky), the smell is also divine (as all the Caudalie products do in my opinion)!
Oh, and the promotion! From today till the 31st of March, if you buy one product from this line, you get one of the shopping bags you just saw above! There are 3 kinds to choose from, but the majority of the bloggers wanted the Eiffel Tower one (doh). Luckily there were enough to go around, so there was no catfight haha
This is mine:
What would an event be without macaroons right? I’m not the biggest fan of macaroons, but those were delicious!
The serum retails for 27.85 euros, and all the creams will set you back 21.60. It will take me some time to test them out before I can write a thorough review, but honestly, during my 8 years of Caudalie addiction, I have not yet tried anything I don’t like!
Now let’s move on to Oenobiol!
Oenobiol is a French nutricosmetics company. They were one of the first (if not the first) companies to launch supplements that prepare your skin for tanning and even prolonging the tan (do I see you perk up in anticipation?)! The company representative told me the brand was launched in Taiwan last year. I checked out some websites and found out the slimming products are really popular haha
That’s Phil trying to steady a ball so that he could take his picture. If you check out his post for the event, you’ll see he managed to snap a picture of me looking like a bubble head (or in his words, an astronaut)!
Something for my weak, peeling nails? Yes please!
I received some samples to try, including the one that prepares skin for tanning and one that helps with hair and nails. These will take some time, but I promise I will and I will let you know how they work for me!
That’s it for today, dear friends! TGIF!
What are your plans for the weekend? Have you heard of/tried anything from Caudalie and Oenobiol? Did they work for you? Curious blogger wants to know!
