Pretty, Peachy, and Pretty Peachy: Estee Lauder Peach Passion Pure Color Blush

A pretty peachy blush is what most girls want in their arsenal. The reason is simple: it’s pretty without being too girlish, and you would be hard-pressed to wear it wrong. If you like green and purple as much as I do on your eyes, I say you need a peachy blush because these colors pair really well with each other! Estee Lauder‘s new Pure Color Blushes might not have been raved about too much yet, but my experience is the same with most other fangirls out there: you really need to at least swatch some of these for yourself! Today I have Peach Passion to share with you.

(Did anyone spot that the compact is upside down in the picture? I didn’t realize till much later!)

Estee Lauder‘s Pure Color Blushes come in the company’s signature golden compact. The packaging is simple, functional, and sturdy. Once you open up the compact, you’ll see the blush (a very generous 7 grams/0.24oz) and a brush. The brush is fairly easy to use and non-scratchy, so bonus point for that!

Peach Passion is a peachy pink with a golden sheen and shimmer. I know there are a lot of similar ones out there, but Estee Lauder has truly nailed the formula. The powder is incredibly finely-milled. I have seen my fair share of finely-milled blushes, and this one is right up there with the best of them. Because of that, the blush goes on smooth, melts into the skin, and looks extremely natural. The shimmer is so fine that it just adds a glow to the cheeks. The pigmentation is impressive. I always use a light hand when it comes to blushes, but even then I almost never have to go back and add more when I use this one. At the same time, it blends out like a dream. A light swipe or two and it’s done!

Peach Passion lasts exceptionally well. I don’t normally have problems with blushes disappearing on me, but a lot of them do fade and look duller by the end of the day. Peach Passion? Not at all! The color stays just about as intense and vibrant till I remove it. For me personally, this is the rare feat that not an awful lot of blushes can achieve! It pulls rather warm on me, but that’s what happens to a lot of products since my undertone is quite warm. I have seen it on my cooler-toned counterparts, and it definitely looks different (but good) on them!

I have worn Estee Lauder Peach Passion Pure Color Blush several times, including:

See, It makes a lot of sense with purple eyeshadows (and anything you might choose to wear)!

Bottom line: With the amount and quality, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Estee Lauder Pure Color Blush. If you’re still looking for your perfect peachy pink, definitely take a look at Peach Passion because this is a shade you can’t go wrong with!

Have you seen Estee Lauder Pure Color Blushes? What is your favorite peachy pink? What would you pair with purple/green eyeshadows?

Sunny, your beauty culture translator xx

PS: The Estee Lauder Pure Color Blushes range is available in the following shades in Belgium: Exotic Pink, Hot Sienna, Lover’s Blush, Pink Kiss, Peach Passion, and Wild Sunset. It’s a bit of a pity that we only get several out of a very large selection, but I have already laid my eyes on Wild Sunset! I bet it’ll look good with red lipsticks!

That purple! on your lids! :O and it still looks pretty natural. The blush ads a nice colour to your cheeks. I am not a fan of EL, the blush looks very pretty though … and it’s peach!

    • Sunny

Hey Claire, I know what you mean. I used to think the brand feels a bit dated, but they have really been impressing me with FIERCE pieces recently!

      • Claire

Their recent collections really impressed me, the colours, the quality. I am still a bit hesitant toward this brand, I don’t know why, lol. btw, I really like the shape you did with that eyeshadow, when you close your eyes, they look like a happy butterly 😀

        • Sunny

I think it might take some time for people to feel enthusiastic about the rebranding, but honestly Estee Lauder hasn’t disappointed me at all with their recent offering!

  • Marla

I love peachy shades of blush. That looks so nice on your skin and I love the color of your eyeshadow.

    • Sunny

Thanks Marla! Peach is an easy go-to! I love purple and the two work well together!

  • Jacqueline

I have way too many peach blushes but gosh this is so pretty!

    • Sunny

Hey Jacqueline, do look into the line and see if you want to try a different shade. I’ve swatched some more and all of them are insanely pigmented and smooth!

      • Jacqueline

With new brands coming into Sg like TF and NARS, I’m literally going crazy with the choices.

        • Sunny

Haha lucky you! We get TF here, but only the lipsticks and nail polishes. No NARS!

  • Teri

My God, that purple es looks hot on you! You already know I’m a big fan of Illamasqua blushes, and this looks great for any make-up look really! That packaging is so gorgeous too!

    • Sunny

Thanks Teri! I need to try Illamasqua soon. Just need to find a shade that is sufficiently different from what I own without REALLY going out of my comfort zone.

  • Yak Man

    • Sunny

OOO same here! We really don’t get many of them here, but I’m eyeing Wild Sunset!

  • Taylor

Gorgeous Sunny. This looks like the perfect peach blush, when I hear “gold shimmer” I get especially excited. It does look perfect paired with purple. I love the whole look.

    • Sunny

Thanks Taylor! I’m a bit fan of gold shimmer as well. Luckily once this goes on it really looks more like a sheen :)

  • L e n a

estee lauder blushes are quite under-hyped.
i guess more people want to pay for their base makeup like double wear and skincare classics but we are used to getting makeup items in GWP deals.
i’ve tried a blush called pink cloud from EL and i was truly impress with the formula as well. :)

this color looks so lovely on you. it complements different looks very nicely. 😉

    • Sunny

I think most people haven’t been given the chance to discover how great they are! Do they give blushes as GWP?

I would love to grab another shade that’s sufficiently different from my existing stash!

  • Memoiselle

Sunny I likeeee your eyelook! The purple pops very well and it looks very fun! I have Estee Lauder silky powder blush and I think the quality decent. The pigmentation is good.

    • Sunny

Thanks girly!!! For me the texture, pigmentation, and lasting power are what make this really worth it!

  • Tracy@Beauty Reflections

Gorgeous on you Sunny! I keep meaning to try one of these blushes soon!

    • Sunny

You should do it! I would really love to know what a real blush fiend has to say about them!

  • Lily (@ChloeAsh)

This looks very natural. I have to try it one day. Haven’t tried any of their blushes before

    • Sunny

Oh Lily do look into their new blush line-up! I have swatched some more in the meantime. They’re all really awesome!

  • ValleyDoll

Such a bummer we don’t get all the shades here in Belgium ! Love this one though ..

    • Sunny

Yeah I know. We can always hope they’ll sell well and more shades will be available here though!
