A pretty peachy blush is what most girls want in their arsenal. The reason is simple: it’s pretty without being too girlish, and you would be hard-pressed to wear it wrong. If you like green and purple as much as I do on your eyes, I say you need a peachy blush because these colors pair really well with each other! Estee Lauder‘s new Pure Color Blushes might not have been raved about too much yet, but my experience is the same with most other fangirls out there: you really need to at least swatch some of these for yourself! Today I have Peach Passion to share with you.
(Did anyone spot that the compact is upside down in the picture? I didn’t realize till much later!)
Estee Lauder‘s Pure Color Blushes come in the company’s signature golden compact. The packaging is simple, functional, and sturdy. Once you open up the compact, you’ll see the blush (a very generous 7 grams/0.24oz) and a brush. The brush is fairly easy to use and non-scratchy, so bonus point for that!
Peach Passion is a peachy pink with a golden sheen and shimmer. I know there are a lot of similar ones out there, but Estee Lauder has truly nailed the formula. The powder is incredibly finely-milled. I have seen my fair share of finely-milled blushes, and this one is right up there with the best of them. Because of that, the blush goes on smooth, melts into the skin, and looks extremely natural. The shimmer is so fine that it just adds a glow to the cheeks. The pigmentation is impressive. I always use a light hand when it comes to blushes, but even then I almost never have to go back and add more when I use this one. At the same time, it blends out like a dream. A light swipe or two and it’s done!
Peach Passion lasts exceptionally well. I don’t normally have problems with blushes disappearing on me, but a lot of them do fade and look duller by the end of the day. Peach Passion? Not at all! The color stays just about as intense and vibrant till I remove it. For me personally, this is the rare feat that not an awful lot of blushes can achieve! It pulls rather warm on me, but that’s what happens to a lot of products since my undertone is quite warm. I have seen it on my cooler-toned counterparts, and it definitely looks different (but good) on them!
I have worn Estee Lauder Peach Passion Pure Color Blush several times, including:
See, It makes a lot of sense with purple eyeshadows (and anything you might choose to wear)!
Bottom line: With the amount and quality, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Estee Lauder Pure Color Blush. If you’re still looking for your perfect peachy pink, definitely take a look at Peach Passion because this is a shade you can’t go wrong with!
Have you seen Estee Lauder Pure Color Blushes? What is your favorite peachy pink? What would you pair with purple/green eyeshadows?
Sunny, your beauty culture translator xx
PS: The Estee Lauder Pure Color Blushes range is available in the following shades in Belgium: Exotic Pink, Hot Sienna, Lover’s Blush, Pink Kiss, Peach Passion, and Wild Sunset. It’s a bit of a pity that we only get several out of a very large selection, but I have already laid my eyes on Wild Sunset! I bet it’ll look good with red lipsticks!
