A while ago I briefly introduced the new Caudalie Vinosource SOS Morning Eye Rescue. After some testing, I am finally ready to share my thoughts on the formula!
Much like my beloved Caudalie Vinosource Quenching Sorbet, the consistency of Caudalie Vinosource SOS Morning Eye Rescue is light and slightly frothy. Despite the fact that I am a big fan of how most Caudalie products smell, I appreciate the fact that Caudalie left fragrance out of the formula. The skin around the eyes is quite delicate, and fragrance is more likely to trigger allergies.
I always squeeze out some product on a ring finger and lightly touch the two ring fingers together before dabbing the Eye Rescue on (or any other eye cream). The texture of Eye Rescue is very lightweight, and it melts into the skin very easily. It offers mostly hydration, so there is no greasy residue to worry about.
What I love the most about Caudalie Vinosource SOS Morning Eye Rescue is the fact that is is so soothing on the skin. I don’t know about you, but my eyes are always a little puffy in the morning. When I dab this on my eyes, I always literally heave a sigh of relief. It feels slightly cool, wonderfully hydrating, and my undereye area instantly looks less puffy as a result!
I would recommend Caudalie Vinosource SOS Morning Eye Rescue to anyone who needs some basic hydration in the morning. If you are very young and have a wonderfully smooth undereye area, you can probably use this day and night. For those who is a bit concerned with fine lines forming, a more potent eye cream might be needed at night. If you normally reach for a rich eye cream, this probably won’t be a good fit, as it hydrates more than moisturizes.
Here is the ingredient list:
Bottom line: For relatively problem-free undereye area, Caudalie Vinosource SOS Eye Rescue is great for some soothing, depuffing, and hydrating action. I am ready to bet this is all I need when I am somewhere warmer and more humid! If you are young and just starting to get into skincare, I would highly recommend this. If you are concerned with fine lines or have really dry skin however, you might not find this sufficient.
Have you tried anything from the Caudalie Vinosource line? My skin has been really freaking out for the past few days (it feels drier and more fragile), and I reached for Caudalie Moisture Recovery Cream last night. Guess what? Things are looking much better today, and I think I’ll stick with it for a while!
